Your text ending in @tag.email

An “@tag” is a user-generated tag written in the “To” address field when composing an email. Text becomes a tag when it contains no spaces and ends with “@tag.email.” Here’s an example: [email protected]. @tags are visible to email recipients at the top of a message.

How @tags Work

Compose Message

Compose a new message, forward, or reply. Before pressing “Send,” make sure to include at least one @tag.

Include @tag

Type an @tag in the “To” field beside email addresses. An @tag consists of text without spaces followed by “@tag.email.”

Send Message

Review your message and press “Send.” The message is now categorized and searchable by @tags included within it.

Message Received

An email recipient opens your email and sees the included @tags beside their email address at the top of the message.

Fully SECURE

With Privacy in Mind

@tags are non-functional email addresses that do not receive messages to an inbox. Copies of messages sent to @tags are deleted automatically in-transit and are not recoverable. That is why sending messages with @tags is as secure as sending messages without.
